In 2015 when residents of Mushin Constituency II first elected Bolaji Yusuf Ayinla as their representative in the National Assembly, little did they know that they had just signed a pact of better life for themselves and that of the generations next to come.
Ayinla seniyan ‘Boluwatife’, as popularly known and fondly called has practically demonstrated to the people of the constituency who have entrusted him with their mandate that his election as their voice in the green chamber is the beginning of a new and positive era in the locality.
Ayinla, in less than one (1) year in office, rolled out empowerment and poverty alleviation scheme tagged *BYA ECONOMY EMPOWERMENT SCHEME (BEES)* for the benefits of the people irrespective of political and religious affiliations.
The Scheme with the record of unequalled, unparalleled and unprecedented empowerment in the history of Mushin Constituency II has 235 people in the constituency empowered with 10 tricycles, 12 motocycles, 25 griding machines, 10 big generators, 6 welding machines, 2 block making machines, 5 vulcanizing machines, 40 sewing machines, 30 small generators & barber’s tools, 28 pop corn machines, 20 hair dryers, 16 chest freezers, 31 coca cola chillers and drinks.
BYA ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT SHCEME in the year 2016 was an economic support programme that gave people tools to enhance and begin a business, earn a meaningful life in August, 2016.
In October 2017, In a way of giving back to the community, Hon. Bolaji Yusuf Ayinla (BYA) supported primary school pupils in his constituency. 50 primary schools benefitted from the distribution of learning materials.
The materials distributed were: exercise books, mathematical set, writing materials and bags.
Some of the primary schools that benefitted were; Adeniyi Primary School; Aina Shogunro Primary School; Ajeabo Primary School; Akodu Primary School; Eleja Primary School; Estate Primary School; Igbeyinadun Primary School and many others.
In July, 2018, Hon. Bolaji Yusuf Ayinla initiated another laudable empowerment scheme to assist, empower and alleviate poverty in his constituency.
Between the last BYA economy empowerment scheme and today, he has provided boreholes across the 10 wards in his constituency according to request, secured some temporary and permanent employment for some members of the constituency, notably 50 slots of N-power jobs, LASTMA, Lagos Neighborhood safety corps (LNSC) and some federal appointments.
The items distributed in 2017 were ; tricycles, motorcycles, grinding machines, sewing machines,generators/ clippers, popcorn machines, hair dryers and freezers. The scheme also included provision of financial support to boost trades, GSM repair kits with generators, makeup boxes and beauty therapy kits, and tyre fitting machines.
These and several other humanitarian dispositions in addition to his qualitative representation in the National Assembly that characterised his first 3 years in office which subsequently would lead to his re-election in 2019.
His election in 2015 to represent his people in the house of representatives turned out to re-ignite the process of achieving better life for the people of the area as his representation redoubled his efforts to give hope to the hopeless and give their life a meaning. His first term of four years as a representative after completion would be characterised by unprecedented records of dividends of democracy to his people.
With all these and other legislative activities the constituents encouraged Ayinla to continue his good work in the House of Representatives pledging their support and loyalty for his re-election.

His Biography., Hon. Bolaji Yusuf Ayinla was born in 1960. He is an indigene of Lagos State.
He is a member of the Federal House of Representative representing Mushin II Federal Constituency.
He attended Muslim High School Sagama, where he obtained his West Africa School Certificate.
He, thereafter, attended Centre for Marketing and Management Studies where he got a Diploma Certificate. Prior to becoming a member of the House of Representatives, he was a member, Lagos State House of Assembly from 2003 to 2015.
In the 2015 elections, he contested for the Federal House of representatives under the Platform of the All Progressive Congress(APC) and Won to represent Mushin II Federal Constituency.
It is worthy to note that he is committed to improving the lives of his people and be part of the NEXT LEVEL of Mr President, Muhammed Buhari, His vice professor Yemi Osinbajo and the all progressives congress party.
